Unresolved Grief

At some point in our lives, each of us faces the loss of someone or something dear to us. The grief that follows such a loss can seem unbearable. Grief is the emotional suffering we feel after a loss.

The death of a loved one, a divorce, or even the end of a way of life like a job loss or moving to a new area are all types of loss that require grieving.

Grief is a strong very personal emotion. Only the person who has been overwhelmed by a life changing event understands that grieving is a process and there are no time limits attached.

Grief is a misunderstood emotion that needs to be more in the forefront of possible reasons why someone is having problems dealing and or coping with life.

I have found that in most cases where stress and anxiety or even addictions are an issue, unresolved grief is usually at the root of the problem.
